Thesing Named Select Reproductive Solutions Specialist of the Year

PLAIN CITY, OHIO, August 4, 2016 – At the 2016 Select Reproductive Solutions™ (SRS™) Conference held June 6 to 9in Rochester, Minn., Brandon Thesing, Pine Island, Minn. was named the SRS Specialist of the Year for his outstanding work in the reproductive field.

“Brandon Thesing is the prototype of what the SRS Specialist of the future will look like,” said Ray Nebel, vice president of technical service programs at Select Sires. “He does an exceptional job in his many daily activities which include key account manager, A.I. technician supervisor and reproductive specialist. Brandon is also an activity systems account specialist who sells, installs and services Select Detect™, Heatime® and CowManager® systems. Brandon wears many hats and wears them well.”

Thesing grew up on a 180-cow dairy in Winona, Minn. and graduated from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities with a bachelor’s degree in animal science and a minor in applied economics. He began his career at Minnesota Select Sires Co-Op Inc. in 2011 in a sales training role and shortly thereafter started working extensively with activity monitoring systems. Thesing is now the southern Minnesota business manager, overseeing 12 employees in southern Minnesota and provides customer-owners with reproductive and genetics analysis. He resides in Pine Island, Minn. with his wife Abby.
