The 2016 Minnesota Red & White State Show was held on June 22th, 2016 at 11 am in Rochester, Minnesota. The official judge was Lynn Harbaugh who placed 22 heifers and 18 cows for a total of 40 animals.
In the Open show, Junior Champion went to the first place spring yearling Strans-Jen D Twist-Red-ET and Reserve Junior Champion went to the second place spring yearling Wallmac Hztr Hop Mia-Red-ET exhibitied by Ashley and Andy Gruenes
Intermediate Champion went to the first place Sr. 3-year-old MS Kulp Terra RB Val-Red-ET exhibited by Ashley and Andy Gruenes and Reserve Intermediate Champion went to the second place Sr. 3-year-old Mahoney Destry Rae-Red exhibited by Keith and Kay Mahoney.
Senior Champion went to the first place 125,000 pounds’ milk class with Jen-D Devil Tiffany Red exhibited by Reid Stransky and Jeni Dingbaum and Reserve Senior Champion went to the first place Aged Cow Cleland Absolute-Red exhibited by Joseph, Zach, Jerome, and Darian Stransky.
Grand Champion went to the first place 125,000 pounds’ milk class with Jen-D Devil Tiffany Red exhibited by Reid Stransky and Jeni Dingbaum and Reserve Grand Champion went to the first place Aged Cow Cleland Absolute-Red exhibited by Joseph, Zach, Jerome, and Darian Stransky.
