The District X Show took place in Bagley, MN on August 4, 2016 where Judge Dale Schmidt placed 31 heifers and 18 cows for a total of 49 head.
Judge Schmidt selected the first place winter calf, Kara-Kesh-RK Solstis-Red-ET, exhibited by Ryan Griffin for Junior Champion. The first place winter yearling, Holbric American Dickey-ET, exhibited by Jerry Muzzy & Keith Kilen received Reserve Junior Champion.
Judge Schmidt then selected the first place Junior Two Year Old, Lida-Acres After Angelica exhibited by Dana & Maria Johnson as the Intermediate Champion and the first place senior three-year-old, Lida-Acres Atwood Annie, exhibited by Dana & Maria Johnson as the Reserve Intermediate Champion.
Judge Schmidt selected the first place five-year-old, Norkval Atwood Bumble, exhibited by the Bumble Syndicate for Senior Champion and the first place aged cow, Benner Sanchez Nakita, exhibited by Seth Rupprecht for Reserve Senior Champion.
For the Grand Champion, Judge Schmidt picked the first place Junior Two Year Old, Lida-Acres After Angelica exhibited by Dana & Maria Johnson. The first place senior three-year-old, Lida-Acres Atwood Annie, exhibited by Dana & Maria Johnson was selected as Reserve Grand Champion.
Best Udder and Top Bred & Owned was awarded to the Grand Champion of the show, Lida-Acres After Angelica exhibited by Dana & Maria Johnson.
