The District VIII Show took place in Sauk Centre, MN on July 30, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. where Judge David Hanson placed 41 heifers and 18 cows for a total of 59 head.
Judge Hanson selected the first place winter calf and the second place winter calf for the Junior and Reserve Junior Champion. Denella Corvette Celebrity exhibited by Nathan Popp was the Junior Champion and Rayon D’or Doorman Alexane-ET exhibited by Trevor Tuman was the Reserve Junior Champion.
Judge Hanson then selected the first place Junior Three Year Old, Jer-Lindy Topside Razzle exhibited by Lauren Libbesmeier as the Senior Champion and the first place Four-Year-Old, Magster Windbrook Jackpot-ET exhibited by Austin Trustheim as the Reserve Senior Champion.
For the Grand Champion, Judge Hanson selected the first place Junior Three Year Old, Jer-Lindy Topside Razzle exhibited by Lauren Libbesmeier. The first place Four-Year-Old, Magster Windbrook Jackpot-ET exhibited by Austin Trustheim was selected as Reserve Grand Champion.
Best Udder was awarded to the Grand Champion of the show, Jer-Lindy Topside Razzle exhibited by Lauren Libbesmeier
Top Bred and Owned was awarded to the first place Junior Two Year Old, SL-Acres Adventagous Lips-Red, exhibited by Quentin Scott and Jacob Schaefer.
Premier Breeder of the show was Maus-Ann Holsteins and the Premier Exhibitor of the show was Ryan Talberg.
