District 4 Holstein Show (Pipestone, MN)
The District 4 Holstein Show was held on August 6th, 2018 in Pipestone, Minn., at the Pipestone County Fairground. Tom Foss was the judge for the day. Judge Foss placed 62 heifers and 28 cows for a total of 90 head.
The day started off with a group of 14 novice youth and their parents in the ring. The future is bright for dairy in the Southwest corner of the state.
Junior Champion went to Mat-Ar-Dor Diamondback Chloe exhibited by Jacob & Aiden Timmer and Reserve Junior Champion went to Mat-Ar-Dor Beemer Kinsley exhibited by Jacob & Aiden Timmer. Honorable mention was awarded to Mat-Ar-Dor Airlift Ricky exhibited by Jacob & Aiden Timmer and Andrew Zylstra.
Intermediate Champion was awarded to Elm-Lane Ceo Cheyenna exhibited by Elm-Lane Holsteins and Reserve Intermediate Champion was awarded to Flower-Brook Heztry Greta exhibited by Jacob & Aiden Timmer & Andrew Zylstra. Honorable Mention was awarded to Rollingriver Cindy exhibited by Newalta Dairy.
Senior Champion went to Klein-Brook Valley-Ernie exhibited by Chris Schulze and Reserve Senior Champion went to Harmony Corners K-Trace exhibited by Jacob & Aiden Timmer & Andrew Zylstra.
Judge Foss named Elm-Lane Ceo Cheyenna exhibited by Elm-Lane Holsteins as his Grand Champion and Klein-Brook Valley-Ernie exhibited by Chris Schulze as the Reserve Grand Champion.
Premier Breeder of the show was awarded to Mat-Ar-Dor Holsteins and Premier Exhibitor was awarded to Newalta Dairy.
