The District V Show took place in Waconia, MN on August 12 at 9:00 a.m. where Judge Steve Searls placed 46 heifers and 25 cows for a total of 71 head.
Judge Searls selected the first place summer yearling and the first place winter yearling for the Junior and Reserve Junior Champion. Do-N-Joy Bronx Lil exhibited by Do-N-Joy Genetics was the Junior Champion and Ms Stranshome Koleen-Red exhibited by Do-N-Joy Genetics was the Reserve Junior Champion.
Judge Searls selected the first place Sr. Three-Year-Old, Hedtkes Guthrie Paige, exhibited by Chris Hedtke as the Intermediate Champion and the first place Jr. Two-Year-Old, Bevens Creek Atwood Lotto, exhibited by Feltmann Dairy Farms as the Reserve Intermediate Champion.
Judge Searls then selected the first place Aged Cow, Eastriver Gold Deb 851-ET, exhibited by Feltmann Dairy Farms as the Senior Champion and the first place Four-Year-Old, Hoese Goldwyn Jessa, exhibited by Feltmann Dairy Farms as the Reserve Senior Champion.
For the Grand Champion, Judge Searls selected the first place Aged Cow, Eastriver Gold Deb 851-ET, exhibited by Feltmann Dairy Farms. The first place Four-Year-Old, Hoese Goldwyn Jessa, exhibited by Feltmann Dairy Farms was selected as Reserve Grand Champion.
Best Udder was awarded to the Grand Champion of the show, Eastriver Gold Deb 851-ET, exhibited by Feltmann Dairy Farms.
Top Bred and Owned was awarded to the Intermediate Champion, Hedtkes Guthrie Paige, exhibited by Chris Hedtke.
Premier Breeder of the show was Feltmann Dairy Farms and was also the Premier Exhibitor of the show.
