2015 Midwest Fall National Show

The 2015 Midwest Fall National Show was held in conjunction with the MN State Fair open show on Wednesday, September 2, 2015. The official judge for the show was Pat Conroy of Indiana. Judge Conroy placed 105 heifers and 104 cows for a total of 209 head.

Of the 105 heifers that were shown in the morning Judge Conroy selected the first place winter calf, Milksource Sid Desire-ET exhibited by Milk Source LLC as the junior champion of the show. Reserve junior champion honors were given to the first place spring yearling, Kawartha Fever Hailey exhibited by Steven W Pfaff & Mandy, Brazil and Graisson Schmidt.

For intermediate champion nine exceptional animals were out in the ring. The intermediate champion of the show was Richman Atwood Shasta R1142 the first place senior three-year-old exhibited by Milky-Way Dairy & Alex Hanten. Reserve intermediate champion was the first place senior two-year-old, Arolene Goldwyn Divine exhibited by Jason Volker & Dan Hovden. Senior and grand champion honors were presented to Brackleyfarm Chelios Cheerio the first place four-year-old exhibited by Milk Source LLC. Bracklefarm Chelios Cheerio also received best udder of the show. Reserve senior champion and reserve grand champion honors were given to the first place five-year-old Indianhead Redcarpet Tia-ET, exhibited by Robert J. Schauf. Indianhead Redcarpet Tia-ET also received best bred & owned of the show.

Premier breeder of the 2015 show was presented to Esperanza Cattle Co. and premier exhibitor was presented to Jason Volker and Dan Hovden.

A step out junior show was also held, the Midwest Fall National junior show. For junior champion of the junior show judge Conroy selected the first place junior exhibitor spring yearling, Jacobs Windbrook Delay-ET exhibited by Cory Schmidt and for reserve the first place junior exhibitor fall calf Siemers C-Vet Haya-Brite-ET, exhibited by Crystal, Jordan, Josh, Jake, Connor & Lauren Siemers.

Senior and grand champion of the Midwest Fall National Junior Show was awarded to Siemers Braxton Marabel-ET, exhibited by Crystal, Jordan, Josh, Jake, Connor & Lauren Siemers. Reserve senior and reserve grand champion honors were awarded to MDF Goldwyn Breezer 40-ET exhibited by Claire M Van Dyk.
